JUST about everywhere you look on Oahu, something is being built or there are plans for something to be built. Single-family homes, condos and stores are popping up everywhere.

If something new isn’t being constructed, something old is being renovated. And in some areas, it’s both.

We have selected 10 communities, scattered across the island, and looked at the change each is experiencing, which ranges from a little to a lot. We also have highlighted an interesting aspect of each neighborhood, provided tidbits and picked out a “Hot Topic” that focuses on an issue of concern.
